Hear it from our Alumni ... with Jaeyeon Chun (Class of 2018)
How do our alumni recall their time at KLU? What experience did they make, which lasting memory connects them with KLU after graduation? Hear it from them directly! This time, Jaeyeon Chun, MSc International Management, Class of 2018, shares her experience with us.

During my time at KLU, I became friends with other students and enjoyed our university life together in Hamburg.
From casual dinner hangouts in Hamburg to celebrating our birthdays, job promotions, bachelorette parties, and weddings, I have made many beautiful memories with my friends. It’s a blessing that I have such special people in my life, and that I’m able to maintain these relationships even after graduating.
Without my friends, I honestly think that it would have been difficult to overcome all the challenges during my studies at KLU. These friendships provided a strong support system during the ups and downs of university life. I also appreciate how the different KLU faculties designed and provided such great events and programs to help us understand each other better, learn from one another, and develop stronger connections. I’m looking forward to reconnecting with other alumni through a special alumni event soon.
My advice to current students: Don’t miss the chance to start friendships at university because you never know where they’ll lead. The connections I formed during those years continue to shape my personal and professional life, opening doors to opportunities I might never have encountered otherwise.
