Friendship Garden in Ho Chi Minh City
Dr. Trịnh Việt Dũng, Campus Director of KLU Asia, attended a tree-planting event called “Friendship Garden” and represented KLU as a supporting partner in this initiative organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Union of Friendship Organizations (HUFO) in Phu An Ward, Ho Chi Minh City. The goal is to plant one million trees and strengthen international relationships.

The event began with an opening ceremony attended by not only leaders of Ho Chi Minh City, but also by representatives of various local and international organizations, as well as Consul Generals from several countries.
Following the ceremony, delegates planted 200 trees along DX91 Street, featuring various species such as siamese rosewood, lim xet, red ironwood, and lagerstroemia.
The initiative was launched to contribute to the development of a greener, cleaner, more sustainable, and more livable city. Through this tree-planting activity, KLU and the participating organizations also had the opportunity to promote environmental responsibility and reaffirm their shared commitment to a more sustainable future for the next generations.
KLU highly values the opportunity to support HUFO in this meaningful initiative and looks forward to contributing to further community-oriented activities in the future.
