Stakeholder Workshop for Reverse Supply Chain Specialists in the Automotive Sector

Today, every automotive company (OEM and OES) operates its own supply chain set up, which is used to steer the reverse supply chain. Organized in this manner, each organization’s supply operations attempt to obtain re-manufacturable “cores” from various sources, sort them in a hub/warehouse based on certain criteria, and forward “good” cores to a remanufacturer for remanufacturing. The companies that perform remanufacturing services generally remanufacture a broad range of parts from numerous OEMs and OESs.

Against this background, KLU CSLS and Encory jointly want to explore and assess the chances for the establishment of an industry-wide, platform based “Pan-European- Reverse-Supply-Chain-Alliance” between major automotive OEMs, OESs, and logistics companies.
